For us, circular jewellery means more than recycled metals. It’s a complete mindset. We design out waste, keep resources in use for as long as possible and help preserve the planet instead of depleting it. Every detail, from the air we clean to the packaging you open, reflects our commitment to circularity.

Circular Diamonds

Circularity starts with our lab-grown diamonds. 

We turn carbon pollution fuelling the climate crisis into carbon-negative diamonds, creating beauty that doesn't harm the planet. Our lab-grown diamonds are made using minimal materials and resources. We collect excess rainwater from the roof of our building and power our production with wind and solar energy from our sister company Ecotricity.  

There is an opportunity for sustainable jewellery brands to lead with innovation. Our UK-made lab diamonds are verified carbon negative by Imperial College London, setting a new standard for how circular diamonds reduce waste and drive positive change.

Materials Matter

Circularity can be found in every material we use. As a circular jewellery brand, we’re constantly pushing to source better, recycle more and design with longevity in mind. 

  • 18k Gold: Rescued from ceramics destined for landfill, giving new life to precious metal. 
  • Recycled Silver: Made from discarded X-rays, refined and beautiful again. Our silver is sourced entirely from post-consumer and industrial waste streams. 
  • Circular Packaging: Designed for reusability using agricultural waste fibres, FSC paper and repurposed paper inserts. 

We don't only think about the end product but take into consideration the entire process. Our mission is simple: create ethical jewellery in the UK that can be reused, repurposed or recycled endlessly. 

Spotlight: Betts Metals

Ceramic Gold is a historic material recovered from the forgotten edges of the British industry. Sourced by The Betts Group – who has been refining precious metals in the UK for over a century – this unique gold is extracted from waste pottery materials such as gilded china, rags and liquid residues, collected from the heart of Stoke-on-Trent to be processed and refined in Kidderminster and Buxton. The result is a gold of known provenance, recycled in the UK, and refined to 9999 purity – traceable, ethical and completely circular. 

Ceramic Gold is available exclusively through Skydiamond’s bespoke engagement ring service. It’s a conscious pairing; lab-grown diamonds made from the sky, framed in gold recovered from traditional wedding gifts like fine china. A full-circle story of commitment, heritage and renewal.
