Creating a one-of-a-kind Skydiamond engagement ring is a collaborative process, designed to bring your vision to life with expert guidance every step of the way.

1. Share Your Vision

Start by submitting an enquiry, calling us +44 (0)1453 572059 or emailing hello@skydiamond.com. Tell us about your dream ring, including your preferred carat size, cut, budget, metal choice and any style inspiration or reference images you'd like to share. The more detail you can provide, the better we can understand your vision.

2. Meet Our Design Specialists

Your first consultation can take place either in person at our showrooms or virtually with our specialist team. Together, we'll explore your ideas, discuss design possibilities and refine your preferences. Following the appointment, we'll create an initial CAD (Computer-Aided Design) of your ring and send it to you by email so you can see how your bespoke design could look.

3. Approve Your Design

Once you're happy with the design, we'll confirm every final detail, including any personal inscriptions you'd like to add. After payment for the agreed design is received, your bespoke ring will enter production and will be ready in up to 8 weeks.

4. Expertly Crafted in the Cotswolds

Your ring is carefully created in our jewellery studio in the nearby Cotswolds, where our skilled craftspeople set your unique Skydiamond into a beautifully handcrafted piece designed to become a future heirloom.

5. Ready to Treasure

When your ring is complete, you can collect it from our showroom or choose complimentary secure insured delivery to your door. Every bespoke Skydiamond arrives beautifully presented in our sustainable packaging and includes your diamond certificate for insurance purposes.

How much does a bespoke Skydiamond piece cost?

The cost will depend on your chosen Skydiamond, metal and the complexity of your design. Once we understand what you’re looking for, we’ll talk you through the options and provide a clear quote before any work begins.

Do I need to know exactly what I want before getting in touch?

Not at all. You can come to us with a clear idea, a few inspiration images or simply a starting point. Our team will help you explore different stones, settings and styles and guide you through the design process.

How long does it take to create a bespoke Skydiamond ring?


Our bespoke jewellery is typically completed within 8 weeks from final design approval. More complex designs may take a little longer. Throughout the process, our team will keep you updated as your piece moves from design through to production and finishing.

What makes Skydiamond an ethical and sustainable alternative to mined diamonds?

Skydiamonds are lab-grown diamonds created in the UK using renewable energy and carbon captured from the atmosphere. We create a limited number of diamonds each year, offering a traceable, responsible alternative to traditionally mined diamonds without compromising on beauty, quality or permanence.
