Stroud Sky Love Story

After 28 years of shared adventure, Pip and Richard chose a ring as extraordinary as their story, a bespoke Skydiamond creation inspired by our Stilla design, its two-tone metal symbolising the meeting of two lives forged into one engagement band. Made from the air in the Cotswolds, the ring carries not only a diamond but a philosophy: beauty without harm, love without compromise.

Its inscription, “In Heaven on Earth,” was born years earlier in the shadow of Uganda’s Mountains of the Moon. While living in a simple forest hut, they hired Francis, an elderly carpenter, whose spirit was unforgettable. One afternoon, leafing through a glossy magazine showing a modern glass home, he quietly observed, “You know, you people live in Heaven right here on Earth.”
The words stopped them, a moment of reflection on gratitude, humility, and the responsibility that comes with building a life together. They never forgot it.

That same sense of wonder has guided them ever since: from proposing to one another at Angkor Wat, to eloping across bright waters, racing the tide to reach the registry office on the wild shores of the Scilly Isles. With dolphins escorting their passage and friends waiting unexpectedly on the beach, their marriage began as their life has unfolded — spontaneous, courageous, and full of grace.

Now, engraved inside the ring, those four words hold everything: the forests they have wandered, the seas they have crossed, the home they have built, and the deep knowledge that heaven is not a distant place, but something they have created together.

A circle without end, a diamond born from the skies above their home and an inscription that reminds them — wherever the next adventure leads — they are already living in Heaven on Earth.
