Sky Born Voices with Beppe Conti

"Raising voices of planet-positive changemakers who are working towards a more brilliant tomorrow."

 Introducing Beppe Conti

Beppe Conti is an Illustrator & Visual Designer based in Turin, Italy. His work creatively combines images using digital and analogue techniques, featuring vintage pictures, textures, and colours, forming a blend of symbols, botanical elements, and anatomy. This mix creates dreamlike scenes with a touch of the surreal. Most recently he has created work for Skydiamond to illustrate how our diamonds are mined from the sky.

How does Nature inspire your work?

Nature is an endless source of inspiration for me. Its sinuous forms, vibrant colors, and complexity fascinate me and challenge me to create artwork that is both beautiful and meaningful.

The shades of a sunset, the texture of tree bark, the delicacy of a flower petal: all of these elements can inspire an illustration.

How do you stay motivated when it feels like you're taking one step forward and two steps back?

Motivation is essential for any artist. There are times when everything seems easy and others when you feel blocked and discouraged. In these difficult moments, I try to remember the reasons why I love creating art and focus on the positive aspects of my work.

The satisfaction of seeing an idea come to life and creating something new and original is a great motivator for me.

What does a diamond represent to you?

For me, a diamond is a symbol of hope and perseverance.

What would you shout to the sky if you could talk to Mother Nature?

If I could talk to Mother Nature, I would thank her for her beauty and generosity. I would ask her to continue to inspire us and guide us in our search for harmony and balance.

Who or what encourages you the most right now that will help us create a brighter tomorrow for people and the planet?

I am encouraged by the people who are committed to protecting nature and creating a more sustainable future for our planet. I am confident that together we can make a difference and create a better world for future generations.
