The Fashion Awards 2022

This December, Skydiamond made a special appearance at the Fashion Awards 2022...

Hosted by The British Fashion Council (BFC), the Fashion Awards was back this year, with a new addition to the event. Our diamonds made from the sky featured on top of each and every award that was handed out. Designed by Yinka Ilori and beautifully hand-crafted by the team at The Glass Foundry, the award represents the synergy between different designers and symbolises the power of culture seen in today’s industry.

Made up of multi-coloured glass speers which represent the many creative roles within the fashion industry, the trophy, which demonstrates Yinka Ilori’s signature work with colour, tells a story of the power of fashion at the intersection of culture. Topped with an ethical and environmentally friendly skydiamond (made using renewable energy) the trophy was a beautiful piece of art, embodying eco-innovation at its finest.

But it wasn’t just the trophy that stole the show. The event saw an array of stars take to the red carpet. Some of which were wearing our very own skydiamonds.
